REJECTION OF ENLISTMENT INTO EKITI STATE APC GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE.
I write with every sense of humility and responsibility to notify the public about the rejection of my enlistment into the Campaign Committee of the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Ekiti. I must appreciate you for evaluating me qualified to be so enlisted.
Nonetheless, it is rather unfortunate that I was not consulted on it before such a decision was made publicized, neither have I at any time been part of BAO campaign nor engagage in any interaction with any member of the campaign structure, but then I have to write publicly through this medium to reject my enlistment as a member of the Campaign Committee: Youths and Students Mobilisation.
The crux of my decision is that the process in which the governorship candidate emerges does not represent my ideology, though this may be a well-known debility in politics, that you have to make it to a political position by crook or hook. To the typical politician, a hook or crook victory is better than a free and fair loss.
Having done depth reflections on the enlistment and my natural propensity, I find it more honourable to reject the appointment rather than pretend about it. Indeed it is a great honour to be enlisted but may the public be notified about my rejection of the enlistment as a decision from a sincere mind.
