The Owo/Ose Federal Constituency Vanguard of Professionals hereby condemns in the strongest terms, the orchestrated campaign of calumny being waged against Honorable Timilehin Adelegbe, the esteemed Member of the House of Representatives representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, by some desperate politicians and faceless groups. These individuals, who have shown no regard for the truth, have consistently peddled false accusations against Honorable Adelegbe, including claims of non-performance, failure to respond to phone calls, and a nonchalant attitude towards his constituents.
We stand united in asserting that these accusations are entirely baseless and designed to tarnish the reputation of a dedicated, hardworking, and highly committed public servant. The facts are clear: Honorable Adelegbe has consistently delivered on his mandate, and his performance as a member of the National Assembly stands as a beacon of excellence.
It is on record that Honorable Adelegbe is one of the most outstanding performing members of the National Assembly from Ondo State today. His initiatives and actions speak louder than the falsehoods being propagated by detractors. Notably, Honorable Adelegbe recently launched a monumental empowerment program in Ose Local Government Area, aimed at uplifting the lives of his constituents. This initiative, which commenced on Friday, November 1, 2024, in Ifon, was specifically designed to empower unemployed youths, artisans, and local traders. Hundreds of young people who had undergone soap-making training were granted financial support and provided with essential equipment to launch their own businesses. This empowerment program is only one of many efforts by Honorable Adelegbe to ensure that the people of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency enjoy tangible benefits from his representation.
