Ondo2020: Olafeso Rallies Okitipupa PDP Leaders For Jegede
Former South West Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Eddy Olafeso has admonished Okitipupa local government leaders of the Party to remain steadfast and committed to the grassroot campaign as the October 10, 2020 gubernatorial poll draws nigh.
Olafeso said these and more when he hosted the Ondo South Senatorial Chairman of the PDP, Elder Fadope, Okitipupa LG PDP Chairman Hon. Dangote, all PDP Ward Chairmen in Okitipupa LG and others at his Okitipupa country home.
While urging the leaders of the Party who are aggrieved to forget the past and work for a united front. “Our Party is primed for victory at the gubernatorial polls and I want to assure you all that I am committed to this Party and the victory of Eyitayo Jegede. We all may have our grievances but we have no where else we can call home if not this Party, the PDP.” he said.
“We will not just sit and expect miracles. We will tour every part of the local government. Every unit must be touched and we will make sure we retain our lead in the LG” he added.
Admonishing Party leaders on the need to ensure genuine reconciliation and bring all on board, Olafeso said “We must not discard aggreived members of the Party. Carry them along, keep knocking on their doors and God will make this job easier for us. The whole State knows our Party is the best and we will not disappoint them.”
