Ondo Guber: Alake congratulates Aiyedatiwa for emerging APC flagbearer
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Hon. Wale Alake has congratulated the governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for the State Governorship Election slated for November 16, 2024
The governor polled 48,569 votes in total votes cast in the 18 local government areas of the state, to defeat his closest rivals; Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, Chief Olusola Oke and former Finance Commissioner Wale Akinterinwa
Alake in a statement personally signed sunday night, urged Gov. Aiyedatiwa to work with all the governorship aspirants so as to delver the party at the the fourth governorship election in the State.
“Alake said that the victory of Aiyedatiwa is a clear confirmation of his passion and commitment to give the good people of Ondo State quality leadership”
“The victory of Aiyedatiwa is indeed resounding and typifies how hard he has worked for the people in the last three months as governor”
“It is a significant victory for the governor, and it puts him in a strong position to win the general election”
He equally commended Governor Usman Ododo Election Committee, noting that its transparency and openness in the conduct of the election is highly commendable
“The victory of Aiyedatiwa is a triumph of democratic values and transparency. It is time to put the primary behind us, and them let us all come together as a united family to work for the success of the party come November”, the statement read.
