Abeokuta, Ogun State – Comrade Akeem Temitope Akilo, a leading aspirant for the Chairmanship position in Ijebu North East Local Government, has assured that the party leadership will have a dominant say in his government if elected.
Speaking with journalists in Abeokuta on Saturday, Akilo emphasized his commitment to ensuring the party leadership has strong input in the running of the local government’s affairs.
Earlier in the week, during a meeting with APC Ward Chairmen, Akilo promised to fully integrate party structures into decision-making processes, acknowledging their closeness to the people at the grassroots level.
A graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, and native of Ishowe, Akilo is poised to bring inclusive leadership to Ijebu North East Local Government.
