NBA Converges on Akure for NEC Meeting
NEC Meeting … A Boon to Ondo State, Says Ondo AG, Dr. Kayode Ajulo
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is set to hold its much-anticipated National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting from Wednesday, February 5th to Friday, February 7th, 2025, at the International Cultural and Event Centre, The Dome in Akure.
This landmark meeting, drawing over 500 top legal minds and practitioners from across the country, is hailed as a significant milestone for Ondo State. Dr. Kayode Ajulo SAN OON, Ondo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, remarked, “This NEC meeting is not just an internal gathering of the NBA; it is a momentous event that highlights the rich legal heritage and progressive vision of Ondo State. The convergence of such esteemed legal professionals here will undoubtedly spur dialogue, collaboration, and innovation that will positively impact the legal landscape of our State.”
The NEC meeting promises to address critical issues facing the legal community while fostering an environment for strategic planning and development. Delegates expect to engage in robust discussions, share best practices, and chart a course for a more vibrant and equitable justice system.

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, these prominent lawyers will be arriving in Ondo State, where the Chief Justice will host a cocktail party. Then, on Thursday, the Governor, in his characteristic magnanimity, will host a grand banquet for the assembly.
