HON.OBANLA INAUGURATES COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEES
The Office of Senior Special Assistant,SSA to the Governor of Ondo State on Community Engagement for Ondo North, OSSACE has inaugurated engagement Committees.
The inauguration which held at Ajowa in Akoko North West Local Government, ANWLG on Sunday 11th August, 2924 attracted party and community leaders who expressed satisfaction over the steps so far taken by Honourable Bode Obanla,the SSA in charge of Community Engagement in Ondo North.
The Obanla’s initiative according to the members was described as taking right steps towards the right direction.
While inaugurating the Engagement Committees Members, Obanla congratulated them for making themselves available to serve the party selflessly in a more herculean task.
Obanla in his address gave insight into the mandate of his office and the deliverables saying his office has the governor’s mandate to interface, interact and collaborate with the people.
He said he is mandated to establish robust Platform for genuine engagement with all sectors of society so everyone can have their say.
It is very important for any government that knows onions to periodically engage with the citizenry to hear their views and take cognisance of their needs.
He charged the members for a genuine collaboration and open hearted engagement that will yield to political posterity for the people.
He noted that it is the result of government engagements that led to the peaceful atmosphere enjoyed in Ondo State as witnessed during the last nation wide protest.
He assured the committee members that all the suggestions, observations and proposal tabled before the governor will be acted upon.
During the meeting, the Committee Members set template for the itinerant of Hon Obanla’s engagement across all Communities within the LG.
At the meeting, the members also used the occasion to repose confidence in Obanla’s capabilities and gave him reassurance of their unalloyed loyalty to the Gov.Ayedatiwa’s government.
The members also applaud Gov.Ayedatiwa for leading a sincere administration through the establishment of the OSSACE Office as a medium for feedback.
The inauguration of other LG Engagement Committees Members will simultaneously hold across other LG in due course.
