Hathany Foundation Gives Back To Nigerian Society
An American based Ekiti State indegine, Mr Hathany Cosmos has embarked on a giving back to the society programme through his Hathany Cosmos Foundation (HCF).
Hathany Cosmos Foundation which is strictly into the rendering of humanitarian services on Friday distributed food items to the residents of Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State in a bid to mitigate the negative effects of the lockdown order by Ekiti State Government due to the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.
Moreso, Cosmos again recently visited the Bab-Es-Salam Orphanage that is located at Ikeja Government Residential Area (GRA) of Lagos State. Hathany Cosmos Foundation also made generous donations to the kids in the orphanage. The Foundation team was ably led to the orphanage by the President, Hathany Cosmos and they spent quality time with the management and kids of the home.
Speaking on importance of the orphanage visit, Cosmos said it was informed by the Foundation’s
core objective of giving opportunity to the less privilege people in the society with a view to helping them actualize their dreams and aspirations in full without any impediment.
The Efon-Alaaye, Ekiti State born Hathany Cosmos further said that he was encouraged to identify Bab-Es-Salam Orphanage because of the fact that the home has over the years produced a good number of doctors, lawyers, engineers amongst other professionals.
“Our team was marvelled at the brilliance of the Director of the orphanage who made the sacrifice of managing the home and who would have ordinarily excelled in any other field he so chooses. The happiness in the faces of the kids is contagious and we all were proud to have been part of their day”.
Meanwhile, the President of Hathany Cosmos Foundation has declared that he is only a man of little resources who however got motivated by the need to contribute to humanity. He nonetheless added that lending helping hands to those in need remains one of the ways of showing appreciation to God and the society.
“This is humanity. This is what we must continue to do to be our brothers keeper and to love each other irrespective of our differences and to care for each other without expecting anything in return. At Hathany Cosmos Foundation, this is our way of life and we we will continue to scale height helping others, raising generation, returning kids to school, reintegrating kids into family life”, said Cosmos.
