The Member representing Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, has extended warm felicitations to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her birthday today.

In a statement personally signed by him, Isiaka described the first Lady as “a woman of grace, compassion, and national service whose life of dedication to humanity continues to inspire Nigerians across generations.”

He noted that her journey from the Senate chambers to her current role as First Lady reflects a consistent devotion to the advancement of women, the dignity of the family, and the promotion of national values.

According to him, Senator Remi Tinubu has carried her responsibilities with quiet strength and firm focus, embodying the virtues of leadership that transcend position or office.

Drawing on Nigeria’s history, the House Committee Chairman on National Planning and Economic Development, observed that every era has been defined by the silent labours of women who strengthen the nation from within.

From the defiance of Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti in Abeokuta to the resourcefulness of mothers who keep households afloat through adversity, the story of Nigeria cannot be told without the resilience of its women.

“In Senator Remi Tinubu, that continuum of courage finds new expression anchored in service, deepened by compassion, and committed to the future of our youth and families,” he noted.

He further commended the First Lady for her commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said is gradually redefining the framework of social intervention in Nigeria by offering real opportunities for empowerment, education, and community development.

He remarked that these initiatives resonate deeply with the aspirations of many Nigerians, especially the vulnerable and underserved.

“As we celebrate her birthday today, we pay tribute to a matriarch whose vision for a just and compassionate society aligns with our collective quest for progress. Her life is a reminder that public service is most meaningful when it uplifts lives and strengthens the social fabric of the nation.

“On behalf of the good people of Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency, I join millions of Nigerians to wish Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, a joyous birthday and many more years of fruitful service to our dear nation,” the statement concluded.
