The erstwhile members of Association of Local Government of Nigeria in Ondo State celebrated the return of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON from medical leave back to the country.
The reception took place at Law hub residence of the State Governor in Ibadan, and had in attendance all members of ALGON.
The occasion was also used to commend the governor for his relentless efforts in transforming the State particularly the just assented LCDA’s bill which according to them is aimed towards grassroots development.
“We expressed our gratitude, like any other well meaning Nigerians, that Mr Governor is back to Nigeria in sound health and renewed strength, to continue his good works, especially his REDEEMED Agenda to the citizenry”
“Just like the popular rendition by Mr Governor, Awa ta jewo ni gbangba”, a song filled with worship and eulogy of the most high God, and describing how great, long, and mighty God is”
“We say to God be the glory. He has proven himself to be a great healer and he has done just that to our own Arakunrin”
“Now that our governor is back, we won’t relent in our prayers to God for more strength to him”, ALGON said.
ALGON expressed happiness over the manner the Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa piloted the affairs of the State in the absence of the governor.
