Face of Africa Leadership Award is a motivation to do better – Bayelsa gov
Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has stated that the Triangle’s face of Africa leadership award which was bestowed on him and other notable Nigerians on Friday in London is a motivation to do better.
The governor who received the award through his chief press secretary, Mr. Daniel Alabrah, stated that the narrative has been changed for the better in Bayelsa State all thanks to the intentional and strategic efforts of the governor in giving the people of the state the much needed dividends of democracy.
Also while speaking during ceremony, another awardee, Reverend Esther Ajayi, founder of the Love of Christ Generation Church C&S (Worldwide), appreciated the host of the award, according to her, gestures like this goes a long way to encouraging others to do better for the sake of humanity. According to her God is love and as a result, out lives must be one which must out of love positively impact others.
Also, in his opening speech, Otunba Femi Salako, CEO/Publisher of Triangle News International, emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating African excellence, saying, “This award ceremony is not just about recognizing individual achievements but also about creating a platform to inspire others to strive for excellence. We aim to bring together leaders and change-makers from various fields to celebrate African excellence and promote unity and progress.”
Other awardees included Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, CEO Mele Kyari, and many others. The event was a resounding success, with attendees praising the organizers for their efforts in promoting African unity and progress. The Face of Africa Leadership Award is an annual event that aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in various fields, promoting African excellence and inspiring others to strive for greatness.
