EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP AT ITS APOGEE AS ADE ADEOGUN COMMISSIONS PROJECTS AFTER LEAVING OFFICE
In a world where politicians are believed to have swayed the people with lying tongues, Ade Adeogun is the real deal when it comes to fidelity to his vows to the people he represented.
Many were awestruck to see a politician flagged off projects as he was leaving the office. While those who knew him understood the tenacity of his commitment to whatever he had purposed in his mind, some felt the projects would be abandoned as he wouldn’t be interested in them. It’s not out of place to think like this because it is the way of politicians to convert such opportunity in any way that best suits them.
Today, the Oka Motor Park with Construction of new Administrative block that comes with a conference room, renovation of restaurant/parking shade, perimeter fence, public toilet and external concrete pavement flagged off some months ago has been delivered with a touch of class. The quality of the job is breathtaking. Anyone who walks into that swamp will understand the love that has been demonstrated by the Beautiful Brand to transport owners and commuters.
The deliberate beautification of the place is in consonance with the Beautiful Brand’s commitment to changing the erroneous perception about Transport business being one occupied by Tom, Dick and Harry. Having provided an enabling environment, the onus is on the NURTW to live up to expectations.
In a related development, the Ikanmu Bridge, that was flagged off some days to the general election will be commissioned to the benefit of mankind too. This bridge had posed serious concerns to the people of Ikanmu for several years until Hon Ade Adeogun’s attention was drawn to it.
However, to enhance security of lives and properties, the Beautiful Brand ensured that the piece of land freely given to the DSS in Akungba had a proper survey which was paid for by him. Today, like the police Barracks at Oka, a DSS office has been delivered today in Akungba to ensure that our people are better secured.
