Egbe Omo Ogun Rere Pays Condolence Visit to Late Dr. Doyin Okupe’s Family
The members of Egbe Omo Ogun Rere (EOOR), a socio-political group in Ogun State, have paid a condolence visit to the family of Dr. Doyin Okupe, one of its founding members and first Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman, in Iperu, Ogun State.
The delegation was led by Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni, MFR, former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, alongside Hon. Jellili Kayode Amusan, a two-term House of Representatives member, and Engr. Nathaniel Sodipo, the current BOT Chairman of EOOR.
Dr. Doyin Okupe, who served as a presidential aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 72.
Speaking during the visit, Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni described Dr. Okupe as “a fearless leader and a true son of Ogun State who dedicated his life to the service of the people.” She added, “His legacy of commitment and excellence will continue to inspire generations to come.”
The group commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul, recognizing his contributions to the political and social development of the state.
