Deserved Recognition of Shapers, Definers, And Moulders of Year 2024
As year 2024 is fast winding down, the Editorial Team of Triangle Magazine has in line with its tradition, recognized outstanding Nigerians that defined, moulded and shaped the outgoing year.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deservedly the Triangle Man of The Year 2024. He is adjudged to deserve this award for his demonstrated courage that has manifested in the defeat of Cabals of Fuel Subsidy, Forex Subsidy,
Tax Hyenas, and Forest Bandits.
President Tinubu is also considered most deserving of the Triangle Man of The Year award forbhis dogged determination that has manifested in the implementations of Local Government Autonomy, Students Loan and Consumers Credit.
Amongst other novel accomplishments of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that qualified him for the Triangle Man of The Year Award include the 24 Hours Surveillance of Petroleum Infrastructure across Nigeria.This is in addition to the 24 Hours Surveillance of Nigeria Borders. These are undoubtedly novel accomplishments in the annals of Nigerian history.
President Bola Tinubu has also in the period under review embarked on audacious construction of numerous Highways across the country; amongst which is the Lagos -Calabar Coastal Road. He has also embarked on state of the art Airport projects, in addition to the construction of Ten Lane Roads to Ten African Countries.
Triangle Technocrat of The Year 2024 is clearly the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Engr. Mele Kyari. This star performer is meritoriously considered worthy of this award in view of the completion of Port Harcourt Refinery, as well as the efficiency, transparency and quality service delivery he has brought to the NNPCL.
Another reason for the choice of Mele Kyari as the Triangle Technocrat of The Year 2024 is due to his fulfilled promise of restoring the 125, 000 Barrels Per Day Warri Refining and Petrochemicals Company (WRPC), in Warri, Delta State to full operations. This Refinery has begun operation today; Monday, December 30, 2024. This much has been confirmed by the NNPCL Group CEO, Mele Kyari.
Without doubt, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is the Triangle Most Innovative Public Servant of The Year 2024. The Interior Minister has evidently transformed, repositioned and remodeled the Interior Ministry. He has been found worthy of this award for coming up with the novel projects of E-Gates, Digital International Passport, and given priority attention to the welfare of Paramilitary personnel.The Minister has also gone the extra mile to secure the freedom of over 7500 Correctional inmates through his collaboration with Non Governmental Agencies.
