Cabinet Reshuffle:
Tunji-Ojo’s Retention, Promotion Of Olawande Applaudable, A Huge Vote Of Confidence
It is with great delight that I received the news of Hon. Ayo Olawande’s promotion to the position of substantive Minister, Federal Ministry of Youths Development by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Likewise, the vote of confidence bestowed upon the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is indeed unsurprising. These distinguished individuals have once again, brought pride to the people of Ondo State through their impressive commitment to national development and exemplary service.
It is heartwarming to observe that President Tinubu is a discerning talent scout who values dedication, diligence and proficiency. We express our gratitude for the recognition and distinction accorded to these two ministers from Ondo State who are setting new standards in their respective portfolios.
Since assuming the office as Minister of Interior, Hon. Tunji-Ojo has initiated a transformation that has arrested the longstanding inefficiencies that plagued the Nation’s passport office for decades. Presently, the agencies and departments under the Ministry of Interior have been revitalized and optimized for optimum service delivery.
Hon. Olawande, during his tenure as Minister of State for Youths Development, displayed not only his competence but also his fervor for the holistic growth and advancement of the youth populace nationwide. In a brief period, the young Minister has positively impacted numerous young lives and contributed significantly to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu’s administration. Thus, his elevation to substantive Minister was a well-deserved acknowledgement of his diligence and commitment to duty.
Both Hon. Tunji-Ojo and Hon. Olawande have exemplified Ondo State’s reputation for industry, valour and dedication. They have exhibited a remarkable team ethos in their respective ministries, becoming beacons of inspiration for the youth and citizens of the state.
While we extend our gratitude to Mr. President for this esteemed recognition and opportunity, I implore the Honourable Ministers to redouble their efforts and continue to validate the confidence entrusted in them.
Congratulations, Honorable Ministers. We stand united in our pride for your achievements.
