The Buhari Campaign organisation(BCO) has appointed Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku as the Deputy National Grand Patron South west Zone.
This information was relayed by the National Coordinator and Member Board of Trustees, Hon. Dr. Danladi Garba Pasali during the group visit to the residence of the Political cum Religious Leader in Lagos State.
The group during the visit stated that having recognized the influence and contributions of Cardinal James Odunmbaku within the nation’s socio-political purview, it has decided to appoint him as the group’s Deputy National Grand Patron, South West Zone.
It was further revealed by the group coordinator, Hon. Dr. Danladi Garba Pasali that Cardinal James Odunmbaku is an unalloyed ally of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his family holds the best credentials to fill lead the group as its Deputy National Grand Patron South west Zone.
Also, the group seeks to build on the existing cordial relationship of Cardinal James Odunmbaku and the Grand Patron of the Group, who is also the Iyaloja of the Lagos State, Chief Mrs.Folashade Tinubu-Ojo even as it seeks to actively prepare the group for the 2023 Presidential election
In his acceptance speech, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku appreciated the group while also reiterating his commitment to ensuring that the aims and objectives of the party are attained.
Also the highly respected Elder-Stateman assured the group members of his support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, he would ensure that the group is effectively mobilized in its drive to ensure that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu eventually becomes the next president of the country by the year 2023.
In his words, ” We have no other candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the best choice for Nigeria come 2023 and we are committed to ensure that he is given the mandate to lead Nigeria into a new and better reality”
