Member, Federal House of Assembly, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has commended the Ondo State First Lady, Arabinrin Betty-Anyanwu for giving her drive to building a generation of girls that are well equipped for the future.
The Chairman, House Committee on NDDC Affairs stated this at the opening ceremony of the BEMORE ONDO 2021 at the PSTI, Ilara-mokin, Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State on the 13th of September,2021
According to Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, “Bemore is an initiative of the First Lady of Ondo State, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, which focuses on training young secondary school girls with competencies in teamwork, problem-solving skills, social and leadership skills, information and communication technology, renewable energy and other modern-day life-enhancing skills.”
He further explained that through BEMORE, the Ondo State First Lady has created a legacy project which will go a long way in producing from the state world renowned individuals who will change the world for good.
He also stated that projects like BEMORE in the Niger Delta will go a long way in encouraging and motivating the girl child to aim for greatness.
Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo also enjoined this year’s participants to take good advantage of the initiative to further equip and empower themselves.
