Anglican Church, to Install Chief Mrs Rachael Ifeladun as Iya-Ijo
A very distinguished community leader, philanthropist and matriarch of Ale’s dynasty in Oka-Akoko, Chief(Mrs) Rachael Ifeladun Ale will on Sunday 4th August,2024 be installed as the IYA-IJO of St James’s Anglican Church,Korowa, Oka-Akoko in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo state.
In a Press Statement by the son of the celebrant, Elder Clement Ale, the ceremony which will be performed by the Anglican Bishop of Akoko Diocese,Rt Reverend J.O.B Bada will be witnessed by dignitaries from far and near.
Chief(Mrs) Rachael Ale who is the mother of a Media Icon and Director, Media and Corporate Communications of the National Space Research and Development Agency of Nigeria, Dr Felix Ale,is being honored with this exalted position in recognition and appreciation of her role and contributions to the growth and development of the church and the Anglican Communion in general.
The Ondo State Governor, Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa is expected as the Special Guest of Honour while the Olubaka, Oba(Dr) Yusuf Adebori Adeleye will be Royal Father of the day and Dr Olalere Sunday Oloruntobi will be Guest of Honour and Chairman of the Occasion.
Chief(Mrs) Rachael Ale who has served in various groups and committees in the church has been described as a virtuous woman who has brought to bare high sense of loyalty, integrity and commitment to the service of God.Hence the unanimous decision of the clergy and the entire congregation of the church to bestow the prestigious honor on her.
