AN APC CHIEFTAIN, BARRISTER MORAYO LEBI STORMS IRELE LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR OFFICIAL DECLARATION OF HIS SENATORIAL AMBITION.
Irele Local Government today was thrown into a state of excitement as Barrister Morayo Lebi (BML) declares his ambition for the exalted seat of Ondo South Senatorial District at the Local Government party Secretariat.
Welcoming the leading grassroot aspirant, Chief Z.A. Omoge, the local government party chairman, expresses his joy at seeing him (BML) coming to rescue Ondo South from the clench of the political fainéants, currently piloting the affairs of the district.
In his words, he describes Barrister Morayo Lebi as ”a worthy chieftain of the party, who has been with the party since it was formed in 2013, recalling that there was a time a Governor of a state seeing Ondo State’s delegates at Convention in Abuja without having a Governor then, pitied them & gave them about #300,000 while Barrister Morayo Lebi added the sum of #1,000,000 (one Million naira) to secure accommodation and feeding, and has never relented in sponsoring the party since then till date nor for once decamped, despite all he must have experienced”. He therefore appeals to all the local government and ward executives across the ten (10) wards to kindly reward him for his faithfulness and kindness, by giving him their unflinching support.
Speaking further, Hon. Olowojuni Shadrach (a.k.a. Segro), an APC stalwart and Southern Coordinator of the last Governorship election that ushered in the incumbent Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, lauds Barrister Morayo Lebi for his patience and faithfulness since the inception of the party till date, stating that this is the time to reward him, and that he is proud to be identified with him on this course to rescue the Senatorial District.
Thereafter, Barrister Morayo Lebi with a great ecstasy, stands to intimate the gathering with some of his agenda which include:
•Effective and good representation.
•Good legislation that will be beneficial to the good people of the District.
•Using his first constituency allowance to empower the youths and second one for women across Ondo South.
•Fast tracking the linking of Lekki, Lagos directly to igbokoda
•Payment of the debt the district is owing BEDC(electricity), to put an end to the current blackout in the district.
• Attracting investors to the district to create employment opportunities among others; and then thanks all present for their supports and acknowledgment of his gestures toward building the party over the years.
As a final note, all the youths and women leaders express their joy having an experienced party man for the job, assuring BML of their support and enjoining him to use his wealth of experience as an advocate to bring additional higher institution down to the district after he emerges come 2023.
Then Barrister Morayo Lebi rises to appreciate all the leaders and executives for their support and donates the sum of #800,000 for refreshment, promising never to let the people down.
