A social-political group in Ondo State, Akoko North Intellectual Youths Movement (ANIYOM) has endorsed the re-election bid of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), a member representing Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency.
The group which has members across Akoko North West and North East Local government areas with different intellectual organizations endorsed Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo’s second term bid because of his outstanding performances in the areas of infrastructure development, youth employment and empowerment among others.
Addressing journalists at a press conference by the Treasurer of the group, Comrade Ayejuyo Temitayo Moyen at Okeagbe Akoko in the Akoko North West Local Government Area of the State said with all honesty, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo had creditably performed well and surpassed his predecessors in terms of infrastructural development and inclusive representation.
Ayejuyo noted that the lawmaker had virtually fulfilled all promises made during the last election and had promoted political restructuring and vigorously built a democratic politics through effective legislature.
He said, “It is a known fact that Hon. (Dr) Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, the Chairman House Committee on NDDC has driven the political sector of Akoko North Federal constituency into profound restructuring In the past Two years”
“Olubunmi Tunji Ojo has facilitated human oriented projects through the construction of nothing less than 500KM asphalt laid road within the federal constituency”
“He also facilitated gainful jobs and empowerment to citizens as this is a lifetime and trans-generational development. This alone also plays a pivotal role in curbing criminal activities among citizens”
“BTO’s annual 1,000 free jamb and coaching, building of classroom blocks within the Constituency schools, equipping the school’s ICT(s) laboratories plus libraries and so much more. All these were put together by him to facilitate affordable education”
“In view of all the feats attained so far, our desire therefore, is that BTO is categorically declared candidate for re-election by the people”, he said.
“We also affirmed strong confidence in the capacity of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo to continue in office beyond 2023 because of his style of leadership.
“On this note, we hereby express total commitment towards his reelection in 2023”, Ayejuyo added.
