ABAYOMI SHEBA: BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT TO A VISIONARY LEADER
By Triangle News Media
The usual problem with having credible people in leadership positions is the fact that most persons who profess fine leadership skills and traits often turned out to be something else, especially after getting political powers. The moment they become what they sought, they desert the people to whom they feigned friendship and swore camaraderie. This sour experience is not peculiar to a particular constituency but a general situation across all states of the federation.
The trend becomes even more worrisome when the damage done by monetization of the system is considered. In certain situations, the good heads and the good hearts are denied positions. Such lofty positions are given to moneybags without considering those factors that should make the difference; thereby sacrificing the best materials for leadership.
